What are TUI holidays like?

We found TUI provides holiday programs to suit families, couples, friends and solo travellers, with package holiday prices representing fair value across most sectors. However, it's the operator's massive portfolio of 'choice and flexibility' that makes them 'stand out' amongst the crowd.

As well as offering multiple travel options, TUI offers a 'huge range' of accommodation types & grades, ranging from low-key self catering apartments to 5-star all-inclusive resorts (and everything in between). See list below for more ideas and options.

  • Customise your holiday by choosing multi-destination stays - you can select from a 'range' of pre-planned Multi-Destination holidays and pick your own hotels.
  • Consider a two-centre or multi-trip holiday, they can help you explore your destinations and find new adventures.
  • You have 'options' to book and stay at different resorts within the same region, or split your vacation into a "2 centre package" and explore two separate countries.
  • With hundreds of combinations to choose from, you can design a holiday that fits around your travel style and preferences.
  • Choose flight options from local airports, plus a range of hotel collections to match your style and budget. You can also include return private transfers (subject to availability).

TUI offers holiday discount codes and special offers.

We found TUI provides frequent deals, including last-minute offers and discount codes - which can be accessed via the Deals section on TUI's website. At the time of our review, we found the following deal types available (deals shown are subject to change & availability).

  • Seasonal deals inc Summer & Winter.
  • Last minute deals.
  • Deals by destination.
  • Deals by holiday type.
  • Discount codes.

Top Tips: Check out the following tips on how to grab yourself a bargain - with plenty of options available there's bound to be something of interest.

  • If you're looking for family deals, check out TUI's new 'Free Child Place' search tool - it can help find some of the best family deals available.
  • For Last Minute Holidays & Late Deals, head over to the TUI deals section, where you can filter your search by destination, departure date, accommodation rating, price and departure airport.
  • To find out when discount codes are released, keep checking www.tui.co.uk/discount-codes. Or sign up for TUI emails, they give a heads-up on special offers, holiday tips and destination suggestions. You can also find offers posted on social media platforms.

What are TUI Long Haul holidays like?

TUI Long Haul Holidays: Check out TUI's long-haul programmes, such as the luxurious resorts of St. Lucia, Barbados, Cancun and Jamaica - you'll find plenty of family-friendly hotels and adults-only properties to choose from. If you're looking for a warmer winter break and a chance to experience fascinating new cultures, look east to Phu Quoc in Vietnam, or the Thai islands of Phuket and Koh Samui - if you're looking for something new and exciting, try Cuba or Goa.

Long Haul Fleet: TUI uses advanced Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. These aircraft provide improved fuel efficiency, range, and versatility. They also offer large windows, more headroom, legroom, and quieter engines - which all help to provide a more comfortable and enjoyable long-haul flight experience. On direct Dreamliner services, most flights are available with no stops, making it even more convenient for travellers. See our long-haul tips below.

  • Long Haul needn't mean spending all your time at the beach; so check out TUI's range of long-haul city breaks. Discover the bright lights of New York and Las Vegas; or even the futuristic marvel of Dubai.
  • Check out the TUI 'Long Haul Deals' search facility; you can filter results by board basis, hotel rating, destination and price.
  • Consider a long haul (two-centre) City and Beach break combined. Two weeks or more relaxing on the beach sounds great, but how about spicing it up with a buzzing short-stay city break beforehand. Such as a 3-night stay in New York (the city that never sleeps), then flying on to the soft pale sands of the Caribbean to 'chill out by the pool' for a week or so. It could be a perfect combination.

Top Tip: Occasionally, planning and booking a long-haul holiday 'online' can be slightly complex, especially if you're itinerary includes multiple stops and destinations - or perhaps you're stuck on choosing a destination. If this is you, you can contact TUI's dedicated call centre or pop into one of their 300 UK travel agencies (or innovative Holiday Design Stores) and speak to a travel specialist - who can guide you through the booking process.

What are TUI all-inclusive holidays Like?

We find that all-inclusive holidays can take the stress out of arranging and budgeting for food, drinks, activities and entertainment. Enjoying a holiday with all the trimmings needn't mean breaking the bank, with an all-inclusive holiday, everything is bundled into one handy package.

  • All-inclusive packages include flights, accommodation, luggage and transfers. Food and (local drinks) are all taken care of - meaning you won't have to pay extra for these items once you arrive, all-inclusive availability and T&Cs apply.
  • Many of TUI's all-inclusive hotels include kids’ clubs, entertainment and a full line-up of activities.
  • For all-inclusive holiday deals; you can choose from destinations across Europe, North Africa and the Caribbean.

Top Tips: For a full range of all-inclusive availability, check TUI's dedicated all-inclusive holiday search - here you can filter and sort results by recommended, price, tripAdvisor rating and departure date.

All-inclusive activities, entertainment, plus food and drink options, can vary between hotels. Check each hotel description for a full rundown on what’s included (all-inclusive conditions apply).
